Excel Resourcing operates as a supplier of contractors within the road transport industry and does not directly employ engineers. This referral scheme is designed to reward individuals who introduce suitable truck or bus engineers who are successfully engaged through Excel Resourcing.
Referral Timing & Eligibility Referrals must be submitted via the official referral form prior to the contractor being engaged by Excel Resourcing. Where a contractor has already commenced work, a referral may still be considered valid only if it is submitted within 10 calendar days of the contractor’s confirmed start date. Any referrals submitted after this period will not be eligible for the referral reward. For the avoidance of doubt, eligibility is determined based on the contractor’s confirmed engagement start date.
Eligibility Requirements 2.1. The scheme is open to individuals aged 18 or over. 2.2. Referrals must relate to qualified truck or bus engineers with the legal right to work in the UK. 2.3. The referrer must have obtained permission from the referred individual to share their details with Excel Resourcing.
Referral Process 3.1. Referrals must be submitted via the official referral form linked above. 3.2. A referral will only be considered valid if submitted prior to the contractor: being known to Excel Resourcing, or being contacted, submitted, or engaged through Excel Resourcing 3.3. In the event of duplicate referrals, the first valid submission received will take precedence.
Qualifying Criteria 4.1. The referral reward will only be payable where the referred individual: is successfully engaged as a contractor through Excel Resourcing, and completes a minimum of 8 consecutive weeks, and works a minimum of 40 hours per week during that period 4.2. Only fully completed and verified weeks will be considered. 4.3. Breaks in service, reduced hours, or early termination may result in disqualification.
Referral Payment 5.1. A payment of £500 will be made once all qualifying criteria have been met and verified by Excel Resourcing. 5.2. Payment will be processed within 14–30 days following confirmation of eligibility. 5.3. Only one referral payment will be made per contractor.
Referral Payment Process The referral payment will only become payable once all qualifying criteria have been successfully met and confirmed by Excel Resourcing. Referrers must not submit an invoice for the referral payment unless requested to do so by Excel Resourcing. Once eligibility has been confirmed, Excel Resourcing will contact the referrer directly to request an invoice and provide any required payment details. Any invoices submitted prior to confirmation of eligibility may be rejected or disregarded. Submission of an invoice does not constitute acceptance or confirmation of eligibility for payment.
Exclusions No referral payment will be made where: the contractor is already known to Excel Resourcing the contractor does not meet the qualifying criteria false, incomplete, or misleading information has been provided
Payments & Tax 8.1. Referral payments may be subject to tax, and it is the responsibility of the recipient to declare this where applicable. 8.2. Payment will be made against a valid invoice, following confirmation of eligibility.
Scheme Changes Excel Resourcing reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw this referral scheme at any time.
General 10.1. All referrals are subject to review and verification by Excel Resourcing. 10.2. Excel Resourcing reserves the right to make the final decision on eligibility for any referral payment. 10.3. By submitting a referral, the referrer agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
