1. Scope
This policy applies to all Electric/Hybrid Vehicle (EV/HEV) training delivered by Excel Resourcing Limited, including on‑site courses and IMI‑certified programmes.
2. Booking & confirmations
- Bookings are confirmed on receipt of a Purchase Order (PO) or written acceptance of our quotation.
- Joining instructions and any pre‑course requirements will be sent to the named coordinator.
3. Cancellations, rescheduling & substitutions
- Cancellations made 10 working days or more before the event: no course fee is due (non‑refundable third‑party costs may apply).
- Cancellations made fewer than 10 working days before the event: 100% of the course fee is payable.
- Rescheduling requests made fewer than 10 working days before the event may incur up to 100% of fees and any non‑recoverable costs.
- You may substitute delegates at any time at no additional charge, provided prerequisites are met.
4. Fees, payment terms & VAT
- All fees are exclusive of VAT (where applicable).
- Payment terms: invoices are due within 28 days of the invoice date.
- We reserve the right to withhold certificates where invoices remain overdue.
5. Travel, accommodation & expenses
- Travel and subsistence are charged at cost with itemised receipts (e.g., hotels, meals), unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Mileage is charged at £0.55 per mile (subject to annual review) for travel to customer locations.
6. Delegate numbers & certification limits
- Maximum 6 participants per standard EV training event.
- For IMI‑certified assessments, the maximum is 4 trainees per event, in line with IMI requirements.
7. Prerequisites & safety
- Delegates must meet course prerequisites (e.g., prior L2 awareness for higher‑level courses).
- Appropriate PPE and safe workshop conditions must be available for practical sessions.
- The trainer may refuse participation where safety standards are not met; fees may still apply.
8. Venue & equipment (on‑site training)
- Client to provide a suitable training space and access to required vehicles/equipment, unless otherwise agreed.
- A site contact must be available on the day for access, inductions and safety briefings.
- If the venue is unavailable or unsafe on arrival, we may postpone or cancel and fees/expenses may still apply.
9. Certificates & results
- Attendance certificates are issued for successful completion of non‑accredited courses.
- IMI certification is subject to meeting the assessment criteria and IMI rules.
- Replacement certificates may be chargeable.
10. Data & privacy
We process delegate information (e.g., names, contact details, results) to arrange and deliver training and, where relevant, to register candidates with awarding bodies. See our Website Privacy Policy and Employee/Contractor Privacy Notice for more details, including your rights under UK GDPR.
11. Force majeure
We are not liable for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., extreme weather, transport strikes, illness). We will work with you to reschedule at the earliest opportunity.
